Welcome to the latest edition of the Humber Spotlight! I hope everyone had a refreshing summer and is ready to participate in our exciting autumn programme.
Our first Talent+ event this October is ‘Confident Media Engagement Essentials’. With experts Dave Hudson and Suzanne Hughes, you'll gain practical insights for effective media engagement. Spots are limited—register now! Confident Media Engagement Essentials.
In the same month, we'll welcome a Cluster Decarbonisation in Industries (CDI) delegation from Germany to explore innovation in decarbonisation within the Humber Industrial Cluster. This visit includes site tours, workshops, and interactive panels.
And looking ahead to November, there is a fresh focus for The Waterline. Future Humber, The University of Hull, and Phillips 66 will work together with many partners to bring you a fantastic day on November 27th. This will include a Business Breakfast followed by The P66 Student Sustainability Challenge, with an exhibition throughout the day.
Since 2019, the Waterline campaign has fostered collaboration among businesses, academia, and communities to propel our region towards net zero. In response to the giant strides that we have all taken, we have continued to evolve our delivery of this campaign to meet the needs of our Bondholders and stakeholders. This has meant that we have organised key events throughout the year, such as taking the Humber Pavilion to the Innovation Zero Congress in London - and looking ahead, we’ll be working with events such as the Coast-R Network Conference and the Great Northern Conference later in the year.
And if this isn’t enough, keep an eye out for the Principal and Major Partner meetings, our visits to Westminster, and our Industry Insight events!
We are deeply appreciative of the continued support from our Bondholder members. We look forward to collaborating with all of you in the months ahead, and I hope to see you at our upcoming events.
